How to disable Read.AI for good?

Hi,

Does anyone do how to disable/ delete Read.AI for good, so that it doesn't even pop up in the meeting room? We tried disabling the AI feature in the admin and licensed accounts, but some of our users still report having it appear in the Zoom. We could disable it in the Zoom call, but we want to just rid of it for good.

Thanks,

Becky

Identify the Source of Read.AI Invitations -

When Read.AI joins a meeting, it posts a message in the meeting chat indicating who invited it. Check the chat to determine which participant's account is causing Read.AI to join.

Update Read.AI Account Settings:

  • If it's your account inviting Read.AI, adjust your settings:
    • Log into your Read.AI account.
    • Navigate to Account Settings > Meeting Assistant.
    • Disable the Auto-join meetings option.

If the Read AI bot is joining on behalf of external guests you can enable a waiting room to stop bots from automatically joining. You can also block the individual IP addresses associated with the bots. Additionally you can also file a ticket with support requesting to opt out. If you want to automate blocking bots there is an app, Salepager that lets you verify if attendees are human to prevent bots from joining your meetings.
