Are Smart Chapters getting less smart?

Has anyone using the Smart Chapters feature found that it now creates FEWER chapters than before? And that the generated description text is less specific?

 

I have been using this since it rolled out last fall, and was happy with the results: After a little light cleanup, my chapters were ready to go. Now, I get one huge chapter (usually the entire recording), described the exact same text that is used in the "Summary" text.

 

Is this feature going backward? Has the AI been "dumbed down?" Or am I missing something here?

I've noticed the same issue with Smart Chapters recently—it seems to be generating fewer and less specific chapters. It's a bit frustrating, and I wonder if there have been changes in the AI.
