Problems with Camera

Dear friends,

I have a Macbook pro and when I enter into Zoom app. through a Virtual session of Windows with VMWare Fusion the system doesn't recognize the video camera. Zoom doesn't detect any camera. And reviewed the settings and apparently everything is OK.

I don't have any problems when I use Zoom app. without the virtualization.

Thank you very much for your kind support.

Hey @VPASCUAL, from the VMware Communities, can you open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Camera and see if Fusion is listed. (Expected result is you can see Fusion exists in the list). Also, when the first time you open the camera application in Windows 10 guest, you should be able to see the prompt window like, "VMware Fusion" would like to access the camera.

If that doesn't work, maybe look into this VMware KB on Adding a Camera to a Virtual Machine

Let me know if this helps after giving access to Fusion? Then check if the camera is accessible? If not, suggest looking into the Windows portion of the Zoom Meetings support KBs on Troubleshooting Video Issues
