Android phone getting error when trying to add contacts

I tried to set up a practice zoom meeting.  When I went to invite my friend, and went through the Phone Contacts Matching, I used his phone number.  (In my defense I was very tired and misunderstood).

Anyway, so it sent him the text and I entered the code into my phone.

When I look at My Contacts, there are none there of course.   When I go back through the Phone Contacts Wizard, and use my  cell phone number, I get an error:    Please provide a correct phone number.

How can I fix this?   I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and I can't find anwhere in the app where my phone number is stored.    I'd really like to invite contacts from the contacts on my phone.

Thanks!

Hey @keithcindy, take a look into the Viewing phone contacts in Zoom mobile app KB article. Secondly, you can use Zoom Phone SMS, which allows you to send and receive text messages (SMS) using the Zoom desktop client or mobile app. You can also use SMS with a call queue or auto receptionist. This requires a Zoom Phone calling plan if that's what you're looking for?

Hope this helps!
