I am wanting to run sound baths / meditations on zoom but am worried about possible background noise.  So I thought I would pre-record - but is there a way of uploading a recording and playing it with the sound off from the host (ie me) so that if there was eg. door bell ringing - no-one would hear?

Hey @Helix, I would share the screen and in the media player (playing the video) to see if you have the option to mess with the volume on the video playing? You do have the ability to Suppress background noise for videos which will help with any unwanted noise in your meeting. Have you tried applying that to your settings? 🙂
