My system does not allow virtual backdrops, how I can use a backdrop; do I need to purchase a green screen?

Hi, @suewalton –

There’s really only 2  reasons you can’t do backgrounds: either an administrator for your organization has disabled them, or your computer isn’t capable of handling the extra CPU bandwidth needed. It’s possible a specific meeting might have them turned off, but that wouldn't  prevent you from using them elsewhere.

Check out this Zoom Support article to read more about virtual background and their prerequisites.

Hello @suewalton ! In this case when you go to the background, does it give you the option to select green screen as a back drop.

I am attaching the virtual background requirements for devices-Zoom-Virtual-Background-system-requirements  If your device does meet the requirements, you will need to purchase the green screen.

Let me know if you have additional questions.
