UK VAT exemption on changing billing details

On trying to change my address and email under billing details and ticking the box to say I am VAT exempt, a message pops up that I am changing my status to non-exempt??  I cannot proceed unless I agree to this so cannot change my details!  Anyone else found this or ways round it?

I'm sorry for the difficulty you experienced.

Just to clarify, in addition to updating your email address, are you looking to modify your billing address within the same country but with a different postal code? Also, are you planning to switch your account type from individual to business?

Hi @Winnieboy,

You can either enter and save your VAT ID first, then update your billing address, or vice versa.

If this does not help, you can submit a ticket to our billing department for further assistance.
