Hello. I have cancelled my Zoom subscription 2025. I would like to request a refund.

I understand you’d like a refund for your subscription. As stated in Zoom’s Terms of Service, all subscription fees are billed upfront and are non-refundable. When you cancel a subscription, the cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing cycle and you can still use your paid plan(s) until the end of your service period.

I have a few questions.

Why do you register my card number on the Zoom website and set up automatic renewal for payment?

I think the automatic payment method ignores the opinions of consumers.

Also, I think it is theft to take money from my bank under the pretext of Zoom’s regulations without properly notifying me of how much time I have left on Zoom.

I think it is an act of ignoring consumers to make a rule that refunds are not given for completed subscription payments and then say that there are no refunds for canceling subscriptions.

I think it is the consumer's right to request a refund if I change my mind after purchasing an online product.

I am sorry to hear that you were not aware of the automatic renewal of your subscription. Please note that before purchasing, the following information is displayed in the online cart:

 

Recurring plans will auto-renew using the payment method on file that you use today and can access and update from zoom.us/billing. You will be charged each period of renewal until you cancel. You can cancel by navigating to zoom.us/billing and clicking 'Cancel Subscription'. You may request cancellation up until the day before auto-renewal for it to go into effect.

I'd like my refund as well. I'm sure if we'd all follow the small script somewhere, no work could ever been done. I signed up just to keep my interview going, after that the logs should show that I haven't been using Zoom for the rest of the paid month, which means Zoom has already won 18€ just for one extra 25'.  I do hope to see my 18€ back in my Apple Pay card. Thank you.

It is the same as someone scamming you . Of course we all understand the auto subscribe scam , but ethical companies would give a warning that the auto renew is going to happen.  I think Zoom will get into trouble soon as there are better offerings out there now for less.

I want a refund too as I didn't want the subscription to continue. To not refund is just  fraud . I have paid via Paypal and credit card and will contest the payment . You are sinking pretty low to take the  money without warning. By doing that you are just scamming users really. 

What kind of human being signs off a letter scamming someone with "cheers"?

Well my bank took back the money and you’ve been blocked from being able to withdraw the funds again hahahahaha!

Es posible que ustedes tengan razón respecto de la renovación, pero no esposible que hayan realizado el crédito y no el reemolso ¿que hacen con ese dinero? no están prestando el servicio, no reembolsan y nos envian a leer los términos y condiciones. Como solicitar ese reembolo por crédito no aparece en ningún lado lo releí muchas veces.Aagradecería que puedan informar como recibir ese crédito.

I would like to ask you again respectfully.
I would like to request a refund for my subscription.

They’re grimy thieves. Call your bank. These people are completely unscrupulous. I don’t understand people that conduct business like this. 

All they care about is taking people's money

The fact that it's written in the Terms and Conditions, doesn't make the problem of customer dissatiscation go away. A quick example is Amazon in the Services Industry, I've used many times subscription cancellation option when I see that I don't need their service on the becoming month and they refund immediately. I have alway come back.

With Zoom now, I'm not so sure. I'd rather explore other options than getting stuck with the unwanted billing issue. Hopefully some one in the top management will hear about this feedback.

Exactly. They're just hiding behind the terms of service as an excuse to take your money, with zero regard for actually serving their customers. It's completely unscrupulous.

As outlined in Zoom’s Terms of Service, our subscription fees are non-refundable. I understand that there is some frustration around this but - while we are dedicated to review exceptional cases via billing ticket - please note that we are unable to issue refunds for most mid-term cancellations. Our policies are in place to maintain consistency and fairness for all customers, and unfortunately, we are unable to make exceptions in these cases.

I had subscribe for Zoom Trial in Google Play Store on 4/1/2025 for 14 days and it auto renewed the annual subscription on 4/15/2025 and charged my card $173.19. So I request refund with Google but Google said no refund policy. Google says it is a platform and we already transfer the funds to zoom. I dispute it with my bank but bank also declined my dispute and reposted the charge to my card stating that charge is valid. And top due to dispute Google had canceled my annual subscription which is supposed to cancel next year 4/15/2026. I had called the zoom support to reactivate my subscription or otherwise issue me a refund. And also submitted ticket but all the agents are saying rest assured we will resolve your issue but they are jumping from one agent to another first was Amir, then Rolano, the Reinell no resolution till yet and on top I had provided the credit card letter which shows that they close the dispute in favor of merchant that is Google and zoom. This is unfair how on dispute Google and zoom canceled the active subscription and neither issuing refund as I have purchased annual subscription and I didn't used it. 

This is unethical and dishonest business practices on part of Google and Zoom. 

I request respectfully to issue refund immediately.

no one understands if you are actually  a real person as you are behaving more similarly to the opposite. I am shocked at your scam . 

You!!!! Are supposed to give a warning that an account will be charged! You!!!! Are supposed to give. Price to your customers and not rely on getting paid because a cultist forget the date that their subscription ends. You people do dirty business!!!! Well guess what!!! You don’t get my money hahahahaha!!!

 

I got my bank to withhold the funds so now the money is back in MY pocket (smirking and gloating). 

So everyone…call your bank and DISPUTE DISPUTE DISPUTE! I did this almost 9 months ago and the charge of $165 went poof 💨 Bye bye no more charge.

 

There is a way to get over on these scammers! Just call your bank everyone and celebrate putting your money back in your pocket where it belongs! 🎊

Since I changed the subscription plan from a year to a month, could I get the refund for the rest of the months?

I'd like to request a refund too. I have not received any email notification from Zoom that it will be renewed.
