Dear Zoom Customer Center, I am using the  hanwool0966 gmail account, and I would like to request a refund for the recently paid Zoom subscription Pro pricing plan. The payment was made on December 17, 2025, and was unintentionally automatically renewed and paid. I would like to request a refund considering that the account has canceled the automatic payment and has not yet been used. Please feel free to let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @chimsanariel.

Here in the Zoom Community we’re volunteers (mostly Zoom customers, some Zoom employees) with no access to your account info, so we can’t help you directly. But I have two sources of information for you. One comes from an AI query I posed to Perplexity, the other comes from Zoom’s Virtual Assistant (ZVA) also AI based.

Perplexity says:

You can request a refund, but it has to go through Zoom’s official billing/support channels, as other customers here cannot access or change your account or payments.

Since this renewal was recent and the plan has not been used, you should:

  • Sign in to the Zoom web portal with the same account that was charged (the Gmail account).

  • Go to Account Management → Billing → Current Plans and confirm the Pro plan and renewal date.

  • Use the Billing or Support contact option available there to submit a refund request, clearly stating:

    • Date of renewal (December 17, 2025).

    • That it was an unintended auto‑renewal.

    • That the subscription has already been cancelled and has not been used.

For privacy and security, do not post any personal or payment details (email, card info, invoices) here in the Community. If you do not see a direct ticket option, use the billing or sales contact form on the Zoom website while signed into the correct account and attach your invoice or payment confirmation as proof of purchase.

Approval is always at Zoom’s discretion and may depend on timing and local policies, but this is the only path that can result in an actual refund review.

ZVA at Zoom says:

Zoom subscriptions are non-refundable, as outlined in the Terms of Service. After canceling, the user will still have full access to their subscription until the end of the current term. If they have further questions or believe there are special circumstances, they can contact Zoom Support directly, but generally, refunds are not provided for automatic renewals.

The applicable clause in Zoom’s Terms of Service regarding refunds is found in Section 4, Fees and Charges, which states:

"Except as otherwise specified in these Terms or a Service Description, all Services are prepaid for the period selected (monthly, annually, or otherwise) and are non-refundable. Zoom does not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods or unused Services."

This means that, unless otherwise specified, payments for Zoom subscriptions are non-refundable, even if the service is canceled before the end of the billing period.
