Cannot log into my basic plan

I had set up my account to send me text messages for the 2 step authentication. Now I do not get the text messages and cannot back into my basic account. I found an email that says that I supposedly set up an authenticator app in January this month  but I don't have one. Please help.

I have, and I have contacted support. No solution yet.

Issue was solved. I can now sign back in. 

Samtheman, may I ask how?  My wife can't get in to her basic account because she never receives any 2FA messages via email, and I'm wondering if the solution you used would work for her.
