Can't use coupon code to upgrade account

I'm trying to upgrade from free to paid using a coupon code, but I see nowhere to enter the code at checkout. I saw another post in here that said you have to submit a support ticket to use a coupon, but this is a catch-22 as I cannot submit support tickets with a free account, and the chatbot doesn't allow me to, either. 

 

Has anyone successfully done this??
