I am a Zen meditation teacher who uses Zoom to reach my group. On Sundays during services, we do meditation for two 30-minute periods. It is during that time that traditionally, the teacher meets with students for one-on-one interviews in private. Breakout sessions seem like a good way to do this, but as I understand it, even if you have a session with only one person, it needs to be set up in advance. It would mean having all students at least assigned to breakouts, one-on-one with me. But, I don't understand how to 1) start as session during the silent meditation period without disturbing attendees, 2) signal to the next student that it is his or her turn to join me in the breakout session, and finally 3) given that my teacher may want to also occasionally offer such meetings, how to set him up as the host of those sessions that he would take part in, one-on-one.
After updating to "workplace," Zoom is unusable. When I join or start a meeting, the Zoom window disappears. This means I can hear the meeting, but I cannot see it/unmute myself/turn on my camera/see shared screens/leave the meeting. When I right click the zoom icon in my taskbar, it says there are no available windows. This is not a problem of having too many windows open and losing sight of it, the window disappears entirely. Has anyone encountered (perhaps fixed) this problem? I have updated the app multiple times after the original update to workplace, and the problem persists. I have also deleted and re-downloaded the Zoom app, and this did not fix it.
I’m trying to set up two booking pages: one for my remote days when only Zoom meetings are available and one for in-person days when both Zoom and in-person meetings are available. My Zoom Scheduler is connected to my Outlook. I tried creating all day appointment slots with “Show as” set to “Working Elsewhere” in Outlook. However, the days appear unavailable to both the in-person and remote schedulers. I cannot create a custom availability schedule because my remote days alternate every two weeks, or can I? I suppose I would have to go back each week to change the availability, right? So, my question is: is there a way to create a bi-weekly availability schedule or a way to designate remote and in-person days in Outlook so the Zoom scheduler does not offer in-person appointments for the remote days?
When viewing a Shared Screen, there used to be an option under the View Menu to Hide Video Panel. This option has now disappeared, which means that the video thumbnails of Participants is always present obscuring part of the screen. It can be minimised but still leaves a grey rectangle on screen.I have tried to contact Support but they are not grasping the problem. I AM NOT screen sharing, I AM VIEWING someone else's Shared Screen. I and every other member of my Group need to be able to completely hide the Video Panel when viewing a shared screen.Why has this option been removed & can it please be reinstated? Thanks
Hi there,My zoom app is not detecting microphones - this includes my built-in laptop microphone, and also my headphone microphone when I test with my microphones. I'm using Windows 11. My microphone works perfectly in my Sound Settings, and on Teams calls. Error message on Zoom "Failed to detect your microphone. Please make sure your microphone is properly connected."I have tried so many steps online - including:- rebooting the PC- re-installing the Zoom app (now have the Zoom Workplace app version 6.1.11 (45504) installed)- checking for driver updates on device manager- checking for Windows updates (including optional updates)- playing with the Audio settings in Zoom - including the Advanced Audio settings- in Privacy Settings, ensuring the Zoom app has access to the Microphone- going to the Microphone settings and unchecking 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device'- run the Sound troubleshooter - didn't find any issues- tried plugging in a headset - still sa

I schedule meetings each week using my PMI with particular settings.I need to be able to schedule a 2nd meeting with a different fixed ID for recurring meetings and use different settings too. IS this possible? Thank you in advance.
Is there a way to prevent attendees from showing up as "guest" during the Zoom Event Session? I toggled every option that I believe is available. It would not be ideal to expect everyone to register with a Zoom Account in order to prevent this. Is there another way? As a presenter, engaging with attendees, it's difficult to properly engage when half the attendees are labeled as Guest.
I tried to purchase a 1-month add-on webinar as I have done in the past, but this time I received the following error message: This email domain has already been managed by another account. (300). The account has 2 users: myself (owner of zoom account) and another colleague (Admin of zoom account). I do not have any other zoom account with the same email address. However, my colleague does have another zoom account with the same email address. (I am not sure if that has anything to do with this error). Any suggestions how to resolve this issue so I can purchase an add-on webinar plan as before?Thank you!
Hi all! I create some ICS files containing Zoom meeting details. I send them to Gmail accounts having the Zoom for Google Workspace add-on installed, and I want the add-on to display the details nicely, just like when I create an event from the add-on. What do I need to include in the ICS file to do this? I tried with the -::~:~::~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~ delimiters in the description but it doesn't work. I manage to do it for Outlook for example, if my ICS has a proper description, the Outlook add-on displays a "Join" button. I want kind of the same for Google Calendar. Thanks for your help!
Question about the mass deployment of zoom in our business. Most of it works flawlessly. Our only concern is not being able to set up a language. Each user as to change the language from english to the prefered language at first lunch. Is there a command line switch able to do that on install? If not id like to pitch this as a suggestion because switching language on over thousands of computer is not ideal. Thanks in advance!
My boss has a recurring meeting setup and she is the Host. She was trying to start it from the Zoom Desktop App (windows 11) but there was no "Start" button. It also asked her if she was going... which is weird because it's HER MEETING and SHE is the HOST. I thought maybe since she didn't affirm her attendance that was why but even after she clicked Yes (that she was attending), there was still no start button. She had to open her browser and login to the Zoom website to start the meeting.How can she get the Start button to appear in the desktop app? Seems less than intuitive.
Hi all,The IT department where I work set up our Zoom desktops so that we don't have to have a security setting in order to create meetings (waiting room/passcode etc). Suddenly the Zoom Outlook plug in is no longer syncing with the settings put in place by our security team, and I can't figure out why. Imagine my embarrassment when my boss calls me during his meeting to let me know that nobody can join until the host lets them in, me, and I'm not even supposed to be in the meeting. I also cannot find where to uninstall the plug-in. Instructions say to go to the apps in settings on my computer and delete the Outlook Zoom plug in there, but it isn't there. Anyone else have this issue??
Hi All, We have 4 diff zoom id's with diff email & password & one of the Zoom id which we have recharged has 2 users where 1 user is not assigned. Now one of the zoom id's is expiring in couple of days. Now my question is can I use 1 user which is not assigned, to zoom id which has to be recharged in couple of days will it work? I manage my business's google workspace. I added the Zoom add-on to my calendar. It works fine except for when I open the zoom link in the calendar booking, zoom says that we are waiting for the host to start the meeting. How do I set it so it recognizes me as the host?

Hi, my microphone volume is suddenly too low. I have a desktop mac. It's hard for people to hear me. In audio settings the microphone volume is on max. However, when I test my microphone in audio settings my voice volume is much too faint. The microphone is picking up my voice but the output is so low.I tested the microphone on my computer itself, it is fine. There were no issues like this up until this week.Please help! Thanks

I noticed my video after my meetings have a black frame around it, how can I get my video to fill the screen. Also I am using a 4K Tiny camera.
I have deployed the Zoom App through Jamf Pro to certain devices at a organization I work for. The devices can load the app, but cannot login using either "enter your email address", continue with Google, Continue with Facebook. The error message for enter your email is: Cannot sign in, please check your network connection.Google error message: Cannot sign in, please check your network connection.Facebook: error message 10000600. I can, however, log into zoom though chrome and it opens the app though the browser, no issues. I can join or create a meeting that way. Why would I be unable to login using the app? I have created firewall rules from the recommendation of the website.I can login with the app using laptops and PCs.
