Hello, I have a workplace account. I am trying to figure out language translation. When I set the close caption to a different language, it always defer back to English. Some of my student students for example speak and read Spanish. Is there a mechanism for The user who speaks a different language to receive close caption just on their screen and their preferred language. Also, when the instructor is speaking, I understand there is a feature where the end user who speaks a different language can hear the instructor voice in their language. I find some of the land translation features to be confusing. Essentially, I’m trying to assist my students who speak Spanish to receive their closed caption in Spanish, and also have the instructor voice translated in Spanish. It is also my understanding that the Spanish translation in zoom is not very accurate.

      Students can receive closed captions in Spanish during Zoom meetings by enabling translated captions. Each participant can select their own preferred caption language (such as Spanish) on their device, regardless of the host’s language setting. The host must enable translated captions and select which languages are available in the Zoom web settings before the session, but once enabled, users can freely choose and switch their caption language during the meeting12.

      For live audio translation, Zoom offers an interpretation feature where the instructor’s voice can be translated into Spanish. This requires the host to assign an interpreter for Spanish during the meeting setup. Participants can then select the Spanish audio channel to hear the instructor’s voice translated in real time.

      If you find the translation accuracy lacking, it’s important to note that automated translations may not always be perfect, and using a live interpreter can improve quality.
