  For a couple of weeks, my Zoom Workspace client freezes for a couple of seconds after almost every interaction with it.  If I manage it into the meeting room, the meeting itself is almost issue-free. During a freeze, GNOME opens a window offering me to terminate Zoom Workspace (or to wait for it). Thus, the message queue is not processed by Zoom anymore in these moments.The technical support has been unresponsive so far. Google search suggests that if at all, only very few other people experience the same problem. Thus, something in my elaborate Debian configuration is in conflict with Zoom Workspace.How can I proceed, possibly finding the problem by myself? Can one activate log files or enable debug output on the command line?My basic configuration:Debian 13 GNOME 48 Wayland AMD graphics

Zoom Workplace, up to date version. If I open settings window, it stays atop of all other windows making use of other apps impossible.When I tap on View More Settings, a browser opens and... I can't use it, because the original Settings window blocks me from it.What is the sacred logic that I am unable to understand, is behind this?

We conducted a meeting and the next day was sent an email from webinartv.us that our "webinar video" was available on their website. We did not agree to this and it seems that they had a fake person register and then recorded our meeting to be posted on their website. The only person that was on the registration that was not engaging and stayed on even when the meeting was over was named Jordan Spencer and had an email ending in lightconnect.space Alerting zoom about this and others.

I host a meeting. I can annotate on my shared screen. If a participant shares their screen, sometimes I can annotate on their screen, sometimes that option is not there. Today I had the participant go to Settings, In-Meeting (Basic), then Annotate. I thought the box that says “Only the user who is sharing can annotate” would be checked but it wasn’t. How I always annotate on my participant’s screen? I’d be thrilled if it is a setting I can control as host. 

How (or if possible) can I assign multiple cameras their own hotkey, example. Alt+N+1 for the first camera. I have a Stream Deck and would like to assign each camera their own respective key to switch cameras.

Hello, I am using a MacBook Pro Apple M1 running macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 I am using the correct version of Zoom for Silicone Version: 5.17.5 (29101) During a meeting everything is fine until I open the chat or participants box and then my zoom freezes and I have to force quit. Once I open it again, it works fine and I can open the chat and participants.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom. I have also contacted Apple Support who said they do not think the problem is their end, they think it's Zoom. However they got me to reinstall Sonoma just in case but the problem persists. It only happens with Zoom and has been ongoing for a good few months now.

I would like to record a meeting. In the recording I don’t want the participants to appear on video, but they should be allowed to have cameras on during the meeting.How can I do that?

I am not able to add members to a group or channel. I receive an error message: this email address cannot join. These addresses are in my personal contacts.

Smart Chapters are not smart. I had hoped they would generate based on the meeting's agenda headings, but that does not appear to be the case. Seriously, what is the point of having chapters if they do not actually align with the meeting's agenda? Am I just not seeing a way to sync meeting chapters to agenda headings? Or, at the very least, a way to predefine chapters? If "Smart" chapters don't align to the actual topics discussed (aka the topics listed in the agenda) then they really don't serve a purpose IMHO.

Ya reinstale la aplicación en mi pc, hasta formatee mi pc haber si así mejoraba pero nada, espero que alguien me pueda ayudar a encontrar una solución ya que me perjudica esto por mi trabajo.

Hi - I just did my first Webinar. I recorded it and I have easy access ot the recording and the participant's log. However, I cannot find the Q&A log. There were a few comments/questions I did not have time to answer during the webinar, and I would like to go back to those people.  So ... is there a record of the webinar Q&A?  Thank you!Irina 

Can you please advise how I can sync with ICal as it is not working anymore and causing much additional effort at the moment. I do not use outlook or google and want to use apple calendar. The seemless sync was one of the main reasons choosing Zoom. Could you please help? Me and my clients are really frustrated. 

In Zoom Scheduler, our booking page Description is automatically being inserted into the attendee's Outlook calendar invitation.We can remove {{description}} from the Booking Confirmation Email, but there doesn't appear to be an option to edit the calendar invitation template separately.The description is also appearing as unrendered HTML (<p>, <br/>, <div> etc.) in Outlook.Is there a setting to remove the booking page description from the calendar invitation, or customise the calendar invitation body independently?

I am no longer receiving email summaries from the AI companion.  Looks like they are in the chat but not via email.  When reviewing the settings I do not see the following setting: (Optional) Select the checkbox next to Include the full summary text in the email sent to users to send the full summary as part of the email to appropriate recipients." Also in AI Companion Managment Summary List the "share" button is not longer enabled.  Edit and Delete are enabled and active.  Any REAL HUMAN assistance is appreciated! Barry

ChatGPT says Zoom doesn't offer AI summaries with the free version of Zoom. 

I ran an update for ZOOM and the portrait to landscape issue using Zoom has fixed the problem for me.

Zoom was working before an update. Now on a user's laptop, after the update, anytime we open a zoom meeting/start a zoom meeting, it will freeze or crash after the camera begins to show a preview. Zoom will sometimes return after a minute or so.I have tried:Checked Windows System updatesChecked  driver updates for Camera - installed latest from laptop manufacturer's websiteChecked Wi-Fi speed and signal.Uninstalled/reinstalled the latest version as of last weekChecked Camera permissions in Windows for the Zoom appI am at a loss for what else to try! It looks to have to do something when the meeting is in the pre-start stage before the meeting is actually created. 

I don't want to see chat previews so I have to choose the option to disable chat previews every time I join a new meeting. I would like to have the option to disable this feature permanently. I have to keep selecting this option every time I join a new meeting, as well as every time I join a breakout room, and every time I come back to the main room after leaving a breakout room. There should be an option to just disable this feature permanently, it is distracting.

Hello, good morning, I have a problem with zoom for linux (the ubuntu version), the problem is that when I mute the audio with the keyboard, the shortcut doesn't work, preventing me from following the zoom conference (it's a course), I have a equipment not compatible with windows 11 and I need a series of programs in which there is uncertainty as to whether they will continue to work in windows 10 after the end of support for it, so going back to windows is not an option nor do I want to do the dual boot on my computer.please, could you tell me how to solve the problem? I imagine that zoom for ubuntu will have dependencies, what is the package that is causing the error that I am commenting on? I would like to before formatting (of course, it will have to be linux), learn about this operating system, since there are things that have to be interacted with commands in this system and I would like to use it again this way (I have experience in the command environment since I lived in the d

I have a virtual meeting coming up but am not familiar with Zoom.  I am hard of hearing and have cochlear implants.  I have a device to stream through the processors that I can plug into the computer.  How do I set the sound settings in the meeting for that?  Is there any way to practice to make sure it works?  

I am the host and I can see all the participants but not myself.

I schedule meetings often but had an email about a change. Won't I be able to schedule meetings after October?
