Hi everyone.  When I start my videos my virtual background is on a blue background despite every thing being on none /off.  No avatars are on etc, no green screen on.  I am able to shift through other virtual backgrounds.  But I cant get it to have nothing on there yet.  Can someone please help me make it so I do not have a background on my screen.  I am not certain if I hit something in the past, but I am uncertain how to take it off now.   Please help.

If you're using Mac then you have to disable the Background from the Camera Icon in the Menu Bar.

I have the same issue, and have tried all recommended solutions (including a complete reinstall, deleting preference and settings files, etc.  Nothing has worked.  However, I have noticed that it is an issue related to a specific device, that is my (new) Macbook camera.  The blue screen does not show up when I use a remote camera, or when I log into a meeting from my iphone.   So is this a system or new hardware setting or glitch?

Hello @comunitascx,

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

If you're using macOS, it's possible that the background was uploaded directly to your computer instead of through Zoom. Once the meeting starts, a green video icon will appear in the top-right corner of your Mac's menu bar. Click the icon and uncheck 'Background' to remove the background.

Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.
