How do I keep my Gallery dialog box on my large monitor?

With the new version of Zoom, two dialog boxes appear.  I discovered that one of them displays “Share”.

When I use “Share”, my Gallery dialog box moves to my small laptop display, instead of staying on my large monitor.  How do I keep my Gallery dialog box on my large monitor?

Hi @bhs67,

Thank you for joining and participating in the community!

Turn on Zoom’s Dual Monitor mode, then keep the Gallery window on your large monitor.

In the Zoom Workplace desktop app:

  1. Click your profile picture → Settings
  2. Go to General
  3. Enable “Use dual monitors” (wording may be “Dual monitor”)
  4. Leave/join the meeting again (often required for it to take effect)

After that, drag the meeting video (Gallery) window to your large monitor once, and Zoom should keep the video layout and the shared content on separate displays instead of moving Gallery to the laptop screen when you click Share.

Sorry for the delay.  I’m waiting for a response from the new person (Host) who is paying for Zoom.

Her mother is ill.  I don’t plan to rush this.

Hi bhs67,

No worries at all. Take your time, and I hope her mother recovers soon.
