Hi , completely new to using zoom or any similar product . I have only just signed in and will need zoom during a meeting lasting approximately 90 minutes . I will probably only need to use it once or twice . Which zoom package is best for me ?
After digging deeper into this, I found the solution, and IT IS AN APPLE “feature” that no one seems to be fond of, including me. • To turn off the virtual ring light border on your screen during video calls, you need to disable the Edge Light feature introduced in macOS Tahoe. • Follow these steps while your video call is active: • • Look at the macOS menu bar at the very top of your screen. • • Click on the green camera / video conferencing icon that appears while Zoom or FaceTime is running. • • Locate Edge Light in the dropdown menu. • Click on Edge Light to turn it off completely (or click the arrow next to it to disable any "Automatic" toggles so it does not turn itself back on in low-light environments). Once turned off, the illuminated border will instantly disappear from your MacBook Pro screen.
In Zoom Notes, I see the live transcript during meetings and the note indicates a transcript exists afterward. When I click Done, sometimes the transcript is available quickly, but other times I get “Transcript is unavailable” or it takes 1–2 days before it appears. This happens both in the Zoom desktop app and in the browser. The note content can be summarized, which suggests transcript data exists, but the download/transcript access appears blocked or misconfigured.
Hi all, My Zoom meetings started freezing every few seconds. It used to be so much better. My Zoom version is up-to-date. Just bought a new high-speed Internet. I don't have any similar products running on my computer. I even close all of the apps (including Internet, docs etc) all to no avail.I wonder if it may have something to do with my account provisioned in the US but I am located in Canada??? I could be connecting to the US server instead of the local one here in Canada. Then again, my Zoom experience was really good until a couple of months ago when all of a sudden it started giving me this freezing problem. Thinking that my 2-yr old router could be the issue, I got a new router. The Internet speed is extremely high. So, I don't think it has anything to do with the router. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance...Justie

what's the best way you've found to schedule a meeting and send invitations? Also, to update the invitation? When I create a meeting on the website it doesn't seem to send out the invitations. Meetings are being missed. It used to work "okay", but not anymore. What's your process? Also, how do you verify the meeting was received or accepted? I apologize if this has been addressed before.
I want to say that I don’t like the new, bubbly for a lack of better term, Emojis. They appeared when I restarted Zoom this morning. I think they are too cartoonish and childish looking. They are cartoonish to the level they are distracting to me and I find them annoying. So much so I found this forum just to complain about them. ;-)I’d much prefer the older ones. If there was a setting to allow someone to choose what they use, on our personal interface, I’d find that preferable to being locked into whatever set is presented in an update.
HelloI have a recurring meeting series with a number of meeting dates that I have deleted successfully. However, I am no longer able to do so. I receive the error code 403.Currently using MS Edge browser.Any assistance would be appreciated.
I have been using the my notes feature for non-zoom meetings. Until this week, I was able to view transcript and summary. Sometime this week, I can see that the notetake transcribe the meeting correctly (I can even assign names to speakers successfully during the meeting) But when I click “DONE” and go back to hub / my notes, the entry for the meeting is present, but the transcript is empty, and therefore there’s no summary. Anyone else seeing this?
Transcripts stopped working, after working for weeks for My notes. I use Zoom Workplace MacOS Version: 7.1.0 (83064). In the WebPortal, my settings remain unchanged. Enable My Notes = OnTranscribe my meetings with My Notes = OnGenerate and enrich content with AI = OnAuto-save recordings of non-Zoom meetings in My Notes on mobile = OnEnable desktop notifications for My Notes = OnGet reminders to start taking notes when the microphone turns on in enabled apps. = OnEnable email notifications for My Notes = OnAllow everyone (including host) to transcribe meetings with My Notes = On This is a selling feature of Zoom. I hope it can be resolved before deciding to use another method.

We have successfully tested and begun deploying Default Holiday Groups to centralize holiday handling for our Auto Receptionists. Overall, the feature has worked very well and has significantly simplified our holiday administration.We have one remaining scenario that we haven't been able to solve.One of our Auto Receptionists includes IVR options that forward callers to external phone numbers (one local number and one toll-free number).When configuring the IVR within the Default Holiday Group, the Phone Number action is disabled with the following message:"The current extension has no number and cannot be used to forward to phone number."The Auto Receptionist assigned as the Holiday Group target does have an assigned DID and calling plan.We have confirmed that:The Holiday Group is correctly assigned to the target Auto Receptionist. I have been using Zoom on my MacBook Pro for almost two years with no problems.Recently, my built-in facetime camera shuts off during meetings randomly from 1 second to 10 minutes into the session. It is turned back on if I stop and restart my video but it shuts off again at random.I have tried to update to the latest version.I have uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom on the desktopI have shut down every other app running in parallel.I have opted out of hardware acceleration, both incoming and outgoing.Nothing seems to work.Please help.Thanks
We run a weekly webinar and I often see participants joining VERY early. Is it possible to see the names of the participants in the Waiting Room? I currently only see the number of people in the waiting room, but not who they are. We are running the latest version of the Zoom Workplace app on our PCs and our webinars are setup without registration, in case that makes a different. When I search Zoom support, I get conflicting information. Thank you.
I have been using Silversneakers zoom classes for over a year. Suddenly I can’t get into the zoom sessions. Silversneakers support says the issue is not on their end and that it’s a Zoom issue. I have not been successful in finding help from Zoom. Their support is not helpful abd I can’t seem to get through to a real person either on the phone or in a chat box. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this problem fixed? I’m beyond frustrated and desperate for help! Thanks
Hi community. I have read a little about zoom meeting have a translation feature. I will be meeting with a woman from Spain and wanted to know how that feature works. Does it produce text like subtitles when one speaks a different language? Does the voice that translates the language override the voice of the person speaking the foreign language. I would like the translation feature just to write text like a subtitle and still hear her voice in her Spanish language and for her to hear me in the same way. Thanks.
Although I had set chat to autosave on local host computer, it did not. What can I do?
Currently I am experiencing a new issue that was not occurring previously. I used to be able to allow Zoom to transcribe notes from meetings that were not in within Zoom (Gmeet/Teams) and it would successfully transcribe the conversation and produce a summary in the Zoom Hub under My Notes. Now there appears to be a disconnect as the transcription during the meeting will occur successfully but once I select “Done” and then “Complete” it will say within the Notes “Generating Transcript” for some period of time and then show the following: I have waited over 24 hours and never seen it actually end up populating. Can someone please point me on how to resolve this? Again this worked up until very recently and nothing was changed on my account from a configuration standpoint.
I'm trying to record myself without scheduling an actual meeting. I'm told that I simply go to the home page after clicking the app, then click the 'new meeting' button. There is no such button there. Instead there's a button that says 'back to meeting' in addition to the other buttons (join, schedule, share screen). Is the 'new meeting' button only available to paid users or is there some other reason I can't access it?
I regularly (1-2 a week) get added to webinars by random people/companies that I never asked to be joined to. Yes, they’re kind of in my industry (IT), but I never accept and often, when trying to get removed, end up in a loop I can’t get out of. Never used to get this with Zoom in previous years. Is there some setting I need to turn on/off? I get enough spam on my phone without having to deal with it on Zoom. Would have asked a rep, but appreantly the AI bot couldn’t figure out I was logged in and kept demanding I logged in before talking to a rep.
When updating to latest Zoom version, we are getting error code 10082. What can we do to get past this?
