I have used Wirecast Virtual Camera as the video for my Zoom meetings for a while now on MACOS Ventura. I am setting up a new MAC Mini Pro running MACOS Sequoia. The camera is working in Wirecast. I start the Wirecast Virtual Camera, but it is not available to select in Zoom. The physical devices show up but not the virtual camera. Suggestions? Is there a privacy setting or permissions I need to grant? Legacy support needed? Any help would be appreciated.
I am using Share → More → PowerPoint as Virtual Background because I want my webcam video to appear inside the PowerPoint slides. However, participants see two instances of my video:My presenter video embedded within the PowerPoint slide. An additional floating/speaker video thumbnail outside the slide (typically in the top-right corner). My goal is for all participants, regardless of device or operating system (Windows, macOS, Android, iPhone, Web) to see only the presenter video embedded in the slides, without the extra floating video. My questions are:Is there any host, account, or admin setting that disables the additional floating video for participants? If not, is this the expected behavior of Zoom's PowerPoint as Virtual Background feature? Has Zoom announced any planned enhancement or workaround for this limitation?I would appreciate confirmation from Zoom staff or anyone who has successfully achieved this.
Working in Canvas to create a spreadsheet that is easily shared where multiple people can work on it at once is extremely helpful. Not being able to export all tables within that spreadsheet is not. Please add an “export all” option for the whole document instead of making us export each sheet individually. At this point it’s more time efficient to continue creating these spreadsheets in Excel where people work on them in turns.

Have been using zoom for years, with no issues. Suddenly ( for approx 1 week), I have no speakers or microphone on zoom. Both are working well on my PC.How can i fix this, please?
I've been having this problem for months, but today I upgraded to version 6.2.3 (Linux, Ubuntu) and it got much worse. I was recording a Zoom meeting and I noticed lag when writing on the whiteboard. I opened `htop` and saw that Zoom was using the CP.===
I’m new to using Zoom and still trying to understand its basic features. I’ve recently started attending online meetings and noticed that some people record sessions for later use. However, I’m not sure how this recording process works, who is allowed to record, and where the recordings are saved. Can someone explain in a simple way how to record meetings on Zoom and what steps I need to follow as a beginner?
Is there a template for generating official meeting minutes from the transcript?Official meetings such as Board Meetings of Corporations require meeting minutes that follow the agenda that may or may not have been in the Zoom invite. Regardless, the minutes are required to go through all standard items of an official meeting. These can include approval of the minutes of the previous meeting, new business, old business, project reports, committee reports, etc. Please include in the next upgrade a way to generate minutes based on the order in which items have been discussed. Thank you.
I want to be direct with you: renaming Zoom Docs to "Canvas" is one of the most confusing product decisions I've seen from Zoom, and the people who are going to pay for it aren't on your product team.Let's start with the obvious. Canvas is the name of the dominant learning management system in higher education. Instructure's Canvas LMS is deployed at hundreds of colleges, universities, and K-12 institutions across the country, including ours. You have now given your document collaboration product the same name as a deeply embedded, category-defining platform that our users interact with every day. The confusion this creates isn't theoretical. It's immediate, it's real, and it lands squarely on IT and support teams who were already working hard to drive Zoom Docs adoption. The timing makes this worse, not better. Instructure's Canvas platform was at the center of a significant data breach just weeks before this rename rolled out. You could not have picked a worse moment to attach your pr
While i am attending a zoom webinar or meeting i frequently receive Teams phone calls. Since i've only got the one headset for all my audio, is there a way to mute the meeting temporarily, so i can take the phone call, then get back to the meeting? currently i find myself actually LEAVING the meetings to deal with the phones, and a dislike that solution! Thanks in advance for your help~ vicki!
Hi,I’m using Zoom’s AI Companion meeting summary feature. The meeting captions were in English, but the generated AI summary is showing up in Chinese. How can I set the default language to English for the AI summary so it always generates in English? Thanks in advance
Hi.Usually when I host a meeting involving screen sharing, the recording includes both mine and the participant's video for the whole meeting (in thumbnail form while screen sharing). However, when I hosted a meeting yesterday, my (the host) video thumbnail did not appear in the recording when screensharing (though both host and participant faces appear when not screen sharing, as expected given I always use gallery view). Could the (new) participant in my meeting yesterday have had settings at their end that cause this to happen? They were not a co-host so I wouldn’t have thought so. Any idea would be appreciated.Thanks,Kelly.
Is there any efficiency method for real time take attendance? we have 40-50 people to join in the meeting, but we need to count the people one by one before start. Any good idea or APP are easy for solve this problem? Thanks!
Been looking around a bit for an app that does this, but I haven't found anything, figured I'd post here and see if anyone has an answer. I'm looking for an app that tells me when everyone who was invited to the meeting is in the meeting. We have a lot of meetings through zoom with a different groups of people. As people filter in, it's unclear if we're "all in" or not and can get started. Generally, we have to go check the invite list in Outlook and make sure no one is absent. Often this takes time out of the start of the meeting that we could use to actually start the meeting. So, if there was an app we could install that just tells us if the people who were invited were in the meeting, that would help. Not sure if something like that exists. Thank to anyone who helps out.
Hello,I am a Zoom Pro subscriber and I have lost ALL the content of my Notes completely. Here is my situation:I can still see the titles of my notes, but all the content/transcriptions inside have completely disappeared I had many notes linked to past meetings that I had not yet processed The Trash is empty — nothing to restore I have only one single Zoom account I did not delete anything manuallyThis is a serious data loss for me professionally. These notes contained important information from client meetings that I cannot recover any other way.I have already tried:Checking the Trash tab → empty Checking account settings for Notes feature → enabled Logging out and back inI need urgent escalation to a technical team for server-side investigation and potential data recovery. Can a Zoom employee or moderator please help escalate this case?Thank you.
Recurring meetings disappear from desktop and web app. From time to time, one recurring meeting with no fixed time will disappear. I have numerous recurring meetings set up for various clients so they don’t need a new link each time. When they disappear for no reason, I have to set up a new recurring meeting = unproductive and annoying.
There is no video under settings showing on my account. I am unable to change to preview my video before starting.
Hi, I am having trouble with getting incoming and outgoing phone calls to work. Incoming calls are automatically responded to by the auto-receptionist stating, "There is no one available to take your call. Please leave a voicemail." I'm not sure if I have set something up incorrectly, but I have scoured over everything and still can't find answers. Any help would be SO SO appreciated.
Hello, my Zoom is having an issue. When I watch a video shared through Zoom (the video has both voice and music), I can only hear the voice in the video, but not the music.I’ve tried using a different headset, but it still doesn’t work. When I play the video directly on my computer, I can hear it normally. The issue only occurs when I play it on Zoom or when someone shares it with me on Zoom. The same issue happens on my phone as well."Thank you
We have a team of people set up with Zoom phone including SMS messaging. They are needing to receive text pages from an automated system that sends alerts out to a group of cell phones and pagers. The system requires a email to text address, and does not accept the phone number directly. Does Zoom have an email to text address, for example google phone's is #@MSG.fi.google.com, Verizon's is #@vtext.com, etc.
Hello Zoom Community,I am facing a critical issue regarding mid-meeting add-on upgrades and Breakout Room capacity limits. I would really appreciate some insights into whether this is a hard limitation, a glitch caused by dynamic upgrading, or if a meeting restart was mandatory. Why Mid-Meeting Upgrades Are Critical for Us:First, I want to highlight that the ability to upgrade licenses mid-way without disrupting an ongoing session is one of Zoom's absolute best features. This is a massive plus point. For any host, having to "End Meeting" and restart is a huge loss. It disrupts the momentum. Participants often assume the event is finished and leave. We risk losing a significant portion of our audience. Because Zoom allows dynamic upgrading, we were thrilled that we didn't have to stop the show. However, the breakout room issue we encountered completely defeated the purpose of this seamless upgrade. The Scenario & Context:During our live session, we encountered a sudden surge in at
Hi community members,This week we’ve started having issues with mic audio when dialing Teams meetings from our Logi Zoom Rooms (using direct-guest join, of course 🙄). It seems to somewhat coincide with updating CollabOS on these devices to 2.1.176. However, multiple devices were updated at the same time and initially had no issues. Then a few days later one system started having the issue (on Tues this week), and now today a second room is now also experiencing the issue. Zoom calls are totally fine from these rooms, but outbound audio is broken on Teams (with no visual indication that there is a problem). Performed a factory reset of the devices with the issue and reprovisioned them, issue persists. We haven’t made any changes to the Room settings, device settings, or our network. There was a similar issue back in 2023, which required Logi to correct it in a CollabOS update, but it took them months to do so. I suspect that if it is related to CollabOS 2.1.176 we’ll see additional roo

My Church seems to get better quality out of Zoom than the New Jersey State Superior Court. Last Friday I had to attend a virtual pretrial hearing where the Court uses Zoom for these appearances. I call this trial rigging. The overall quality, especially the audio, was poor. I should be used to this by now; but I don't want to experience more consequence than necessary. Most parties to these hearings just put up with the bad quality because they want it over with. From a trial I attended last year, my audio/video transcript the Court gave me last year reflects the same bad quality. As with the recent hearing, the audio had an underwater quality to it. The Court I noticed uses metal boxes with glass fronts to house the TV that they connect with Zoom. Through these hearings and trials, the Court makes Zoom look bad while delivering such poor quality.
I am looking to purchase a paid zoom planMy main requirement is to use it for live streaming in Facebook groupshould i buy the personal or business?i live in India thanks
