Wirecast Virtual Camera not available in Zoom Workplace (Meetings) on new MAC Mini Pro w/ Sequoia

I have used Wirecast Virtual Camera as the video for my Zoom meetings for a while now on MACOS Ventura. I am setting up a new MAC Mini Pro running MACOS Sequoia. The camera is working in Wirecast. I start the Wirecast Virtual Camera, but it is not available to select in Zoom. The physical devices show up but not the virtual camera. Suggestions? Is there a privacy setting or permissions I need to grant? Legacy support needed? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I’m having the same issue. Have you found a solution?

Similar issue here….Zoom sees Wirecast virtual camera fine, whilst in the mic input I can select Wirecast virtual microphone…..However no audio is picked up from Wirecast. Really frustrating, so I have had to roll back to an earlier version of Zoom to fix.

I am interested in any answer as well.  We have been using Zoom and Wirecast for our weekly worship services.  The Zoom desktop app will not recognize the Wirecast virtual camera.  When I select the Wirecast virtual camera, my Zoom meeting shuts down.  I can get the Zoom web browser to recognize the Wirecast virtual camera.  This problem started about a month ago.

Messiah, did you ever get an answer from anyone at zoom?  I don’t see any replies to any of these questions.

Hello,

The Wirecast upgrade may have reset your security and privacy settings. Try manually re-enabling the Wirecast Virtual Camera plugin in your computer's security settings.

Check System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and ensure Zoom and Wirecast have permission. Also make sure you’re running the latest Wirecast version that supports macOS Sequoia. Try restarting the Mac and launching Wirecast before Zoom; if it still doesn’t appear, reinstall Wirecast Virtual Camera.

You may want to consider using OBS Studio (free software used by millions of users) to interface video devices and other video and graphic resources to Zoom using its virtual camera or add the NDI plugin and utilize NDI output to Zoom plus use NDI sources. OBS can also run multiple instances and NDI can allow switching multiple cameras. OBS can select camera, execute a PTZ cam preset, and change audio settings with a single click.
