Recurring meetings

Recurring meetings disappear from desktop and web app. From time to time, one recurring meeting with no fixed time will disappear. I have numerous recurring meetings set up for various clients so they don’t need a new link each time. When they disappear for no reason, I have to set up a new recurring meeting = unproductive and annoying.

Hello, @LeanneMatthews! I understand how inconvenient that can be when you're using recurring meetings to keep the same link for your clients. For recurring meetings with no fixed time, Zoom lists them differently than scheduled meetings, so they can sometimes seem to be missing even though they still exist.

Please try the following in the Zoom web portal:

    • Go to Meetings.
    • In Upcoming Meetings, scroll all the way to the bottom of the list.
    • Look for the section where recurring meetings with no fixed time are displayed. These appear separately from meetings that have specific dates and times.
    • Change the meeting list display to show 100 meetings per page to make it easier to locate no-fixed-time recurring meetings.

For additional information, you can also review Zoom’s article on Recurring Zoom meetings visibility and access issues.

If the meeting is not listed there, please let us know, and we can help investigate further.

    Thanks for your response.

The meeting is not listed there. Other recurring meetings appear but one has been removed. It has happened previously on a number of occasions.

Sorry for the delayed response, and thanks for your patience. If that recurring meeting isn't listed under Recurring meetings with no fixed time (after increasing the list to 100 per page), then it likely isn't just hidden; it may have been changed or removed.

    A few things to check:

    • Signed into the correct Zoom account? Make sure the email address in the Zoom desktop app matches the one you're using on the Zoom web portal.
    • Was the meeting changed? If a specific date and time were added, it would no longer appear in the no-fixed-time recurring meetings section.
    • Could it have been deleted? If others have permission to manage your meetings or you're on a managed account, someone may have accidentally deleted or modified it.

If you've checked all of the above and the meeting is still missing, we recommend submitting a ticket to Zoom support so the team can investigate whether the meeting was removed or if there's an account-related issue.

Let us know if you have any questions or if there's anything else we can help with.

I’m experiencing the same problem. Recurring meetings without a fixed time occasionally disappear from both the desktop and web app, forcing me to create new meeting links for clients. Any update on a fix or known workaround would be appreciated.

This usually happens when the recurring series gets “orphaned” due to a single instance being edited/deleted or a sync issue between web and desktop.
