If Automatic Call Recording (ACR) is not needed, turn off ACR at the account level from the Zoom Portal. This will stop ACR call recording notifications.

Admin>Account Settings>Zoom Phone>Automatic Call Recording

You have options to enable or disable ACR at the Group, Site, Call Queue, Phone User, and Common Area levels.

Depending on legal requirements imposed by authorities having jurisdiction, you may be required to provide notifications to callers and callees when calls are recorded. If ACR is enabled, Zoom provides default notifications which can be changed.

Managing Zoom Phone automatic call recording settings

In addition to Automatic Call Recording, Zoom provides Ad Hoc Call Recording, call live transcription and call summaries.

Ad Hoc Call Recording has similar call recording notifications, except that these notifications are on a recorded call by call basis. If you have transcription turned on, you will hear a notification “This call is being transcribed by AI.”
