There is no video under settings showing on my account. I am unable to change to preview my video before starting.

    I am having the same issue.  I am trying to "preview" my background picture selection, which I should be able to do under a "Video" tab. But there are no tabs at all.  No "General" tab.  No "Audio" tab. "No "Video" tab. Etc. etc. Only a long list of narratives, with selection options for other things. One reason for previewing is that today a background I had never selected popped into my video image in a meeting. So far as I know I had not authorized a background picture at all. NOW, I want to choose a background and have it stay in place. Otherwise, I fear that any random picture on my system might show up as a background during a meeting. I am Basic User, using Zoom on a PC with Windows 10.

    Hi everyone! 

     

    If you are using the Zoom app, please try the following in order to view your video settings:

     

    1. Open Zoom app

    2. Select the Home icon on the nav bar at the top of the app

    3. Click on the small gear icon in the right hand corner

    4. Select the Video option on the left hand side.

    I have a Dell laptop with an integrated camera, and like others below, I couldn’t get video to work in Zoom. None of the suggestions below helped. Then, by accident I discovered that my Dell laptop has a built in lens cover! My video was set up correctly, but I wasn’t appearing on the screen because the lens was covered. The lens cover is on the top frame of the screen, and has a bumpy feel when you touch it. Try sliding it to the left and right and see what happens.

    If the Video section is missing from your Zoom settings, it could be related to your Zoom version, account permissions, or device configuration. Try signing out and back in, updating Zoom to the latest version, and checking whether your camera is detected by your operating system.

    You can also test your camera in another application to confirm it's working properly. If the issue persists, please let us know your device type (Windows, Mac, Android, or iPhone) and Zoom version so we can help troubleshoot further.
