Hello, I am the newly appointed admin for our Pro Plan. We have approximately 10 scheduled recurring meetings each week. One meeting has decided they want all meeting reactions disabled for that meeting. The remaining meetings decided they want to have meeting reactions. I have searched Zoom help articles, elsewhere on the net and cannot find an answer or solution on how to do this for only one meeting. As admin I can only disable reactions for all meetings which we do not want to do. There is no control when signing in as host to disable them. I am aware that meeting participants can disable them only for themselves. This is not what we want.FYI The person who set up the admin for all meetings did not assign anyone to groups, just scheduled the recurring meetings with IDs and passcodes. I don't know if this makes a difference and can find no help in getting an answer about this. Detailed help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
I am running Windows 11. Everytime I try to join a meeting on the desktop app, the meeting will open, ask if I want to join with computer audio, and when I click to join it crashes the window, loads the window again a second time, and then crashes. WHen I try to join again, it says that I am already in a meeting and asks to close it. I am also unable to join via web browser before updating to the most recent version. I have done an uninstall and done a clean install with CleanZoom. I have tried both the 64 and 32 bit versions and neither work.
hello zoom needs finer grained moderation tools. there needs to be a log accessible to co-hosts that logs which co-host muted a user, banned a user and so on. basically logging any action a co-host can undertake. best regards
I need to be able to hide meeting controls without signing-in -- the controls block the view of our presentationsand/or force the usable screen size to be too small. Overall not being able to hide controls is a massive negative for zoom as a platform. It should be easy and available all the time.I use zoom a lot from many locations for meetings. A typical use is to share a screen (e.g. for a presentation)on a separate, public computer that manages a large screen or projector (e.g. in a conference room). I need to be able to hide meeting controls on that computer without a sign-in. It does notwork at the moment -- there is no “hide meeting controls” option offered. It is not easy or convenient to sign-in as my organization strongly discourages signing-in on public computers. In addition, the organiztion has multi-factor login and it takes a while to sign-in.It als forces me to bring the necessary tools for my MFA to every meeting which is onerous. On public systems as I cannot stay l
I have been experiencing a lot of dropped calls in the past 3 weeks here at my company. Are there any issues going on with the phone systems?
Hi - Zoom was working fine until a few days ago. On a PCNow it’s not recognizing any bluetooth devices.I uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom and disconnected / reconnected two different blue tooth devices. What else I can do?
When I press it, it shows the meeting controls while I am sharing my screen. I use the escape key a lot while coding and it is annoying that I have to re-hide the meeting controls every time I hit Escape because it messes with my workflow.
Hello, I’m having an issue with Zoom Phone Auto Receptionist routing. If the main menu is configured so that pressing a key (for example, Press 1) routes directly to an external phone number, the call rings correctly. However, if Press 2 on the main menu routes to another Auto Receptionist (a sub-menu), and within that sub-menu Press 1 routes to External Number 1 and Press 2 routes to External Number 2, neither external number rings. Instead, the caller hears a message saying the person is not available. The same external numbers work when assigned directly on the main menu, but not when called from a sub-menu. Any solution or workaround would be appreciated.
I initially enabled AI Companion and connnected it to my Teams meetings to experience its features, but I disabled AI Companion in my Web admin settings. However, the AI Companion continues to try to join meetings. I confirmed it is disabled in my web portal. I tried to enable again to manually disconnect it from other non-Zoom meetings, but I cannot reenable. I shouldn’t have to do this -- all I want is the Companion to STOP trying to joining my meetings. Any suggestions on how to stop this?I have attached a screenshot of trying to reenable the Companion to acces the settings -- it never lets me proceed. I continue to see a turning symbol on both Safari and Edge for Mac.
I would like Zoom to not steal focus at ANY time in Windows 10 Pro. This includes when Zoom is starting up, when joining a meeting, and when someone starts sharing their screen. By that I mean, if I'm working on a document, Zoom will take away focus and "steal" keystrokes from the document I'm currently working in. This is very frustrating and should not happen at all.
Hello — I’m really disappointed with Zoom Clips lately. Since the most recent update (around [insert date]), none of the features seem to work as expected.I record clips, but when I share the link with clients, they get an error when trying to download or view them. We are absolutely sure the sharing settings are correct.I’ve lost multiple important clips — they simply vanished from the library, even though I never deleted them. This is very concerning.I relied on Zoom Clips for delivering training materials and client deliverables. Now I have to re-record everything or switch to another tool, which is a huge time sink.I tried contacting Zoom support, but only got boilerplate responses or referrals back to community forums. That doesn’t help when I have paying clients waiting for content. If Zoom wants people to trust Clips for professional use, these issues need to be addressed immediately. I’m asking:What backup/recovery options exist when clips disappear? Why are clips not accessible
In Zoom events, you can send an auto-generated email to all "attendees" that the recording is available. How do I get that same message to those who registered but didn't attend? The "sorry we missed you" email" doesn't have the option to add the watch recordings widget. The settings for the recordings available email do not allow you to select absent attendees.
I was using zoom without any issues but one fine day it stopped working in my PC.But same time its working in my mobileI reinstalled zoom still not working. Not working means - I used to get links for meetings (earlier it was working) after clicking the links a live lesson window will appear and if I press join button, a new widow will appear and within a fraction of second it disappears. Even if i try to create a new meeting same thing happens please solve the issue
Make sure that you are optimizing your agent for the job they were “hired” for. Do not prompt-bomb the guidance and write a Da Vinci Code length guidance prompt. It’s hard for a human to read and hard for AI to understand. So, what is the ideal length of your guidance? First, factor in that ZVA is not only digesting your guidance prompt but also, Length of the conversation - which we are optimizing using summary. Number of skills and their complexity. How tool responses are being returned. How guidance is written as well (the architecture and formatting matter). Best Practice:Target for one agent’s guidance prompt: 2,000–4,000 characters(~500–1,000 tokens)Why this range works bestEnough room for:role definitiongoalstoneguardrailstool-calling rulesShort enough that the model consistently attends to itEasier to debug when behavior goes sideways Upper limit: 8,000 characters. You won’t be stopped, but you also won’t see the results you nor your users want. Once it goes past this, you’re
We have client meetings with Zoom so I think it would be convenient to use Docs to do that. I am trying to use the Docs sites for documents sharing with a client. It's a total useless experience -- after i spent 1 hour to search the "download" button with a share folder created and a test document uploaded. There is NO "DOWNLOAD" button, and the online editting for an EXCEL file is next to impossible. So, how anyone would be able to use this site for anything? I tell my client “hey the documents are sent and shared on Zoom Docs under the share folder (and here is the link….), but you can not download or edit anything usefully”? You wasted my time and money. Now i need to tell my client “we’ll find another solution other than Zoom for the project sharing”….Whoever is the product manager of this product (Docs) should be fired immediately….
Hi All - We are new to the Zoom the Call Center platform and seeing that our call and messaging transfers are not taking a higher priority in queue than a new call to the queue. On our previous platform we could set that a transfer called with take a higher priority over a new incoming call. This provides the customer a better experience since they have already been waiting in the previous queue.
Hello! Does anyone know how to view the # of people who went to my registration page but didn't register for the event? My team tracks our registration page conversion rate and this would be enormously helpful.
My coworker recorded a zoom meeting, but the video in its entirety is glitching out. Not just a single person's feed or a few flickers here and there, but the whole video is glitching and flickering and turning green and pixelated every few seconds. Everyone’s feed, who had their cameras on is glitching and lagging as well. It was more stable during the screen sharing part, but even then it was still glitching every few seconds. I was asked to edit the video, but i can't do anything about that. Why did this happen and is there a way to fix it?
Is there a setting to automatically split and send SMS messages that are over 160 characters?
Hi! I set the call distribution to rotation, but apparently it isn’t working. It’s still ringing simultaneously for all members. Is this an issue, or what could I have done wrong?
Hi guys, we run a support group using three monitors. Gallery view in the middle, slide control, chat and participants on the right and slide presentations on the left. Worked fine for years but not since this years update. Uninstalled and reinstalled the December version and it works fine. System, Linux Mint 22.2 XFCE desktop, NVidia GFX driver.
I want to record my zoom session on my own computer, but zoom only allows cloud recording. I have checked all settings and couldn’t figure it out. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I just bought a new computer - an Asus Vivobook. It has an I5 core and so should be excellent. I installed Zoom and tested it. The sound from the device is great but the sound I am receiving is terrible. When I test the sound using Zooms test device, I can hear the sound, or the sound starts and then cuts of. I talked to a friend in the UK using Zoom and the sound quality was dreadful. Has anyone experienced this before? Any tips? This is the first time I have ever experienced this problem.
I do not want to remove the integration, but i fear I might have to. This is clearly a zoom bug. every time i pull up someone's calendar (internal) in outlook just to look at available times, zoom sends them a meeting invite right that moment even before I can hit "discard" or "send invitation". I don't know how to make it stop. for example, it is 4:52pm right now.. i open outlook "new event" so i can check my managers schedule to set up a meeting next week... i'm still flipping through the days of the week to schedule the meeting and boom- Zoom, completely on its own, sends her a meeting for today at 5pm EST before i have even finished creating an invite or picking a date and time. What the heck? this has been happening for weeks. The meeting does not come from outlook therefore doesnt show up on outlook calendars, but my zoom alerts will randomly go off on my phone or watch saying "upcoming zoom meeting- 5 minutes" and i open it and its just a shell of an invite from a time i was loo
Is there a plan to add a setting for phones to start the Zoom AI summary automatically when starting or joining a call?Transcriptions are able to do that today; seems logical that the AI summary could do the same. Also, are Zoom AI Summaries going to be available in Contact Center? Thanks
