not tech savy on macbook

I am not tech savvy.  I have a MacBook, I have a meeting set up, put in the invitee’s email, if I understand correctly the zoom link for the meeting was automatically sent, is there a a way for me to check if link was sent, before contacting the invitee.

I do not understand where to find “copied invitation” after clicking the link for copied invitation

thank you

You’re on the right track. When you schedule a meeting in Zoom and add the invitee’s email, the invitation is usually sent through your connected calendar (like Google Calendar or Apple Calendar).

If you want to confirm the link was sent, you can check it this way:

    1. Open your calendar event where you scheduled the meeting.

    2. Look at the guest list — if the invitee’s email is there, the invitation should have been sent automatically.

    3. Inside the event details, you should also see the Zoom meeting link that was included in the invite.

Regarding “Copy Invitation”: when you click that in Zoom, it simply copies the meeting details (including the link) to your clipboard. It doesn’t show a separate saved location. You can paste it anywhere (like Notes or an email) using Command + V to see the full invitation text.

If you’re unsure, you can also open Zoom → Meetings → select the scheduled meeting → click Copy Invitation and paste it into an email to resend the details to your invitee.

    Hello Tom,

I could not find the calendar, so I opened a zmail acct for calendar, unfortunately the calendar is empty and now I’m really in a mess, the meetings link is now not present, I cannot see my meetings, how to undo

Hi @Jan Lily and welcome to the community! If you’re using the Zoom desktop app on your Macbook, you can go to Home, then find the meeting in question, click the three dots on the bottom right corner, and then you will see copy invitation.

Also, if you’re trying to send the link on Macbook, to paste the link you can use Command + V.

    Hope that helps!
