Screen sharing audio and video disruption and delay

I got a new company laptop and am not able to screen share without the video and audio being delayed. I have turned off my camera so I am not on video and it still happens.  I was using a different work laptop for a couple of years, with the same internet connection, but now when this happens I get a temporary pop up that says “your internet connection is unstable”.  What settings, etc. could be causing this disruption? I just added additional RAM and same experience.

Suggestions?

    There is delays on Zoom, but as we  only see the world from our machine, we do not percieve it.
    If you have a poor connection, or poor performance then this can make things worse.

    Are you using a contested wifi or far from the router. Different laptops have different perofrmace on wifi

    Screen sharing is also a hard to do activity for zoom and will also reduce performance.

    Running other apps while using zoom reduced performance.
