This is what I learned. If you upload a background in the application, then that's stored temporarily and locally. A reinstall (potentially an update as well) may wipe those backgrounds.Alternatively, if you are an admin, you can go into My Account >...

It doesn't give me a version number, but says its last update was 12/18/21 the day I submitted the post. I probably did that to troubleshoot as well, but forgot to mention it.
