With the windows client, I find it very hard to navigate the division between chats and channels. The base use case I have is pretty simple, I want to know which chats have been updated most recently. Obviously. when there are recent chats, you have the number indicating it has updates, but once you read it, that goes away. Then, you cannot easily tell which have been updated most recently across the 2 groups. It gets even worse if you star a channel, because they are fixed in location.
On my mobile device, channels and chats are mixed together so if I am looking for recent chats, its very logical.
