Show unread message number on dock icon (MacOS)

I switched from a windows PC to a mac, and I was wondering if there was any way I could have the app icon in the dock display the number of unread messages like it does on a windows (or like how iMessages displays the number of unread messages). Otherwise, the Zoom icon only bounces once when I receive a message, and if I don't see it, I don't know that I've gotten a message. Thanks!

Hi,

Currently this is not a feature. Feel free to enter a feature request here: https://zoom.us/feed

You can enable notifications following this link: ( like sound )

https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362623

Also, please ensure your notifications are enabled under Notifications and focus on your mac

Hope that helps

Hi! Actually, I finally figured out how to do it. I think you just have to go into system settings and then notifications and turn on "badge application icon" under Zoom. That did it for me

yes thats correct, I suggested that above too. Also, You can change bounce to continuous so it doesn't just bounce once. Glad your issue is resolved

Also, You can bounce your notifications continuously instead of just once

This is under Teams Chat -> Other settings -> Change once to Continously
