Feature Request: Automatically Disable Previous Meetings

Hello:

I am a user of a Zoom Pro account and have noticed an issue with previous meetings. When a meeting moves to the "Previous Meetings" section, it is still possible to start it using the original link. This can cause conflicts with new and ongoing meetings, as they may overlap.

I would like to request a feature that automatically disables meetings that move to the "Previous Meetings" section, so they cannot be started again by me or other users who have the link. This would help avoid conflicts and improve meeting management.

If anyone has found a solution or has any ideas, please share them!

Best regards,

  • Manually Delete the Meeting: If you're concerned about someone starting an old meeting, you can go to the meeting management section and delete or edit the meeting to prevent it from being used.
  • Consider Using Personal Meeting IDs (PMIs): If you often use the same link, switching to a PMI might help, though it can still present challenges with multiple scheduled meetings.
  • if this not work then Go to Zoom's Support Page Log into your Zoom account, then go to the Zoom support page

Thank you for your suggestions, Fontsterpartner. While manually deleting or editing meetings is a workaround, it's not really a practical solution in today's world of automation. We're looking for something more efficient, especially with the advancements in technology like AI.

Manually managing each meeting is time-consuming and prone to human error, which defeats the purpose of having a scheduling tool. What I'm hoping for is a feature that automatically disables past meetings after their scheduled end time, preventing them from being restarted accidentally or by someone else. This would greatly improve meeting management and prevent potential conflicts.

I appreciate your understanding and hope Zoom.us can consider this feature request for future updates.

Notes:

- Perhaps a setting could be added to automatically disable meetings after they conclude.

- This would be a valuable addition to Zoom's features, especially for busy professionals.

- I believe this would be a significant improvement to the user experience.
