Zoom Rooms - How many do I need?

I'm a little confused about zoom rooms. I have an upcoming meeting with 12 guests and I want to break them into groups of 6. Do I have to buy two rooms or can I buy just one? I can't tell if your original account is classified as one of the rooms.

@akamy A Zoom Room is a product for setting up a conference or other room for meetings.  A breakout room is a feature within Zoom that allows you to divide participants into groups so they can talk privately within the meeting.   You can split a meeting into up to 50 breakout rooms with your license (assuming you can host that many participants).

I understood that the 12 people would meet once and then split into two groups.
Zoom Rooms can also use breakout rooms, so I think one is sufficient in the case you are requesting.
