Truncated Toolbar at 1080p

My resolution is normal 1080p in Landscape view and the bottom toolbar is truncated, so I cannot see it. If I rotate my monitor to 1080p Portrait I can see the bottom toolbar. The zoom client cannot be made shorter than 1040 pixels in height. How do I fix the zoom client resolution on my Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon desktop to be 1080p Landscape?

Zoom client 6.0.12 (5501)

Glad to find this description; my toolbar ( ctl-\ ) is also truncated!
On my old chromebook, the zoom client image has fitted its container window.
On my new Thinkpad T14, the zoom client image is vertically too large for its container window.   Hence the bottom toolbar is truncated.
The search phrase "toolbar truncated" returns informative results, namely your problem description.

oops ... the Thinkpad T14 runs Linux mint.

I think I just solved this issue. Look at your Accessibility setting and see if Large Text is enabled. If so, disable it and the toolbar will hopefully display. Try enabling and if you are lucky, it will still be fine. I hope this helps!

Hello SWin,

Thanks for your reply and suggestion.

I looked at Accessibility on a sidebar menu.  It did not help me.

Details -- Accessibility is on a sidebar menu, whose top entry is 'General' and bottom entry is 'Accessibility'.

  • Closed caption Font size is Small
  • Webview Font Size = 100%, the smallest value
  • Webview Display Size = 100%, the smallest value

For myself, clues to note --

  1. Able to resize zoom window horizontally, but not vertically.
  2. "Might this bug go with free accounts, but not paid accounts?"
  3. Perhaps relevant keywords -- fit to size, scaling, shrink, enlarge

Cheers,
