Need 2 licenses to use the Zoom room?

Our small church has a paid Zoom account (one license). We were hoping to take a vote during an upcoming meeting, but from understand from my research, we cannot do this unless we buy another license for Zoom Room to use.

Is this correct??

Ah, okay. Polling can work, but I would steer you to a tool like ElectionRunner.com, which I’ve used successfully with several organizations. The cost is low, it’s fairly easy to set up, and doesn’t require actual presence at the meeting to vote. Take a look at that and see if it can be more useful to you.

If that’s not going to meet your needs, tell me which menu options you don’t see. Often, if you haven’t used a menu item before, it’s hiding over in the More… menu.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @Mulatka.

I'm not sure why "taking a vote" would be an issue.  Were you hoping to use Zoom to count raised hands or Yes/No reactions?  Every person voting would need to be in attendance from their own device for this.  The Host can see how many raised hands or Yes/No reactions are present in the Participant window.

Maybe there's something I'm missing.  If you can explain further, that might help.

Sorry I wasn't clear--  it's an election, so I was hoping we could use the polling feature?

I've searched Zoom help and googled it, but the instructions all refer to menu items I don't seem to have.
