This is going to be an interesting question:
Does someone need to stay in the main room when people are sent to breakout rooms?
There were seven of us in the meeting and the leader wanted all of us to go into a breakout room.
Two of us had issues. It took 10 minutes for me to join the room. And I was the host.

Hi Andrea:
The main room can be empty during breakouts, but it's a good idea to make sure someone is still watching out for people who drop or who need help during Breakouts.
If it took you 10 minutes to join a room, it was most likely a connection issue. Are you hardwired, or on wi-fi?

I'm hardwired into my computer.
We also just started using a new start meeting link. That as a host I have to use.
