We have a location in a different state that is having sound quality issues. I'm new to the IP phone arena. We have the same phones here only we have bout 80 phones where the problem city only has 3 phones. Not sure where to begin looking?

hi tkearney336,
Your out of state location may have an internet network issue.
Assuming you have a business or education account, you see detailed quality of service of past and active calls. You can select a telephone number or a department. You will see Call quality by device, codec, ISP, and network. This will allow you to identify any ISP or network issues.
Viewing the Zoom Phone quality of service dashboard
If you do not have access to zoom phone quality of service dashboard, you can use the zoom network connectivity tool. Please see:
Using the Zoom Network Connectivity Tool
Some network issues may be caused by a poor connection provided by your internet service provider (ISP). Running a speed test such as speedtest.net can provide some basic testing such as download and upload speeds, packet loss, jitter and latency. The test results of speed should be checked against your ISP bill. Other possible issues include defective ISP cable modem or fiber termination device, firewall issues, defective network switch, defective network switch port and defective network cable.
Other possible issues include users consuming a lot of bandwidth with streaming services and large file transfers. If this is the case, you may want to consider using a voice VLAN and or implementing quality of service (QOS) on your network.

You can also test your desk phone by calling the Zoom test number *8378 from the desk phone and you can run a diagnostic on the desk phone. Please see:
