On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Phone line dropping

Zoom phone line keeps dropping - all calls go directly to VM. I have restarted my phone several times and it works for an hour or so and then drops the line again.

All attempts to contact my Account manager have failed to resolve this issue.

Ticket request for help is now over 24 hr old and still no response.

Is customer service always this unresponsive?

what does it take to get help?

hi adrenth,

 

community members have no access to your zoom account.  to try to determine what is causing the issue, please describe your zoom phone setup.  

 

please let us know:

your phone - manufacturer, model, firmware version.

how your phone is connected to the internet - plugged into your isp gateway device or wifi connection; connection type (fiber, dsl, 5g wireless, etc.); contracted up and down speeds; actual up and down speeds, packet loss %; jitter ms; and latency ms.
