Hi,
I'm trying to disable the user from using 'dial-by-name directory' now.
There are 3 users on the main site now.
Assuming A, B, and C, I want to prevent A from calling B or C by name.
'dial-by-name directory' is disabled for the main site setting now.
However, users can now make calls by name.
How can I prevent users from calling by name?
Adding users to the blocklist is the same.
Thank you.

Hi, @Yulim –
Take a look at this Zoom Support article, at the section called “Creating or editing a dial-by-name directory.” The last bullet item says:
Seems to me this might accomplish what you’re looking for.

Hi,
Directory cannot be modified because 'dial by name directory' is disabled.
If I enable 'dial by name directory' and modify the Directory, the problem is the same.
If 'dial by name directory' is disabled, not all users should be able to make phone calls by name, right?
Thank you.

That’s my understanding. There might be some differences among “sites”, if you have multi-site turned on, but that doesn't seem likely.
If dial by name is off, nobody should be able to dial by name. Are you sure they’re not just dialing by the extension? Seems like by now they should know each other’s extension. 😎
