I am new to Zoom and would like to know if you can call an email address like you are able to in Microsoft Teams. This would be like a normal phone call, no video. In Microsoft Teams, you enter an email address and then search "External". If they are logged in, you can call them as a normal phone call, without a telephone number. Is this function also available in Zoom?

Hi @Lynette1
You can type an email address in the field above the dial pad in the Zoom desktop app, or after tapping the Silhouette icon beneath the dial pad in the Zoom mobile app. Doing so will search the External Contacts, Internal Users, Shared Contacts, and Cloud Contacts (as well as Phone Contacts in the mobile app). It will however not display contacts who do not have a telephone number associated with them.
I hope that helps!
