Hello.
I do online piano lessons.
My zoom does not do stereo.
I have "original sound for musicians" selected
And also "stereo audio"
I have 2 microphones hooked up through a focusrite audio interface.
When I unhook one of the mics and do a "test microphone" I hear the play back coming back from BOTH speakers.
My audio interface is working fine. When I use a normal audio recording software such as pro-tools, left and right microphones are honored.
Can someone help me troubleshoot?
Thank you 🙂
Noam

As an audio and broadcast engineer I can tell you that computer audio can be very complicated. That is exactly correct behavior. Video playback does the same thing when stereo is selected. Unless you make numerous configurations in the web portal and ON BOTH ENDS. The other end needs to be a computer, not a mobile device, ipad, or tablet. If you need to pan inputs you can use the loopback on the Focusrite.
