unable to open the app

I have a brand new Mac OS 12.2.1 - I've downloaded and installed zoom.  When I try to open the app I get an error message that says "an error occurred while installing the selected updates".  There are not any selected updates and the only option is to click "install" - nothing happens.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times.  I continue to get the same loop.

Yes I am.

 

@Bri  Similar issue. I'm unable to open zoom on macOS 13.0. The app opens briefly and automatically closes.

However, I can join in a meeting via link and it works normally.

Its been more than a week like this.
