syncing zoom meetings to my ical MacBook calendar

Until the last couple of weeks my zoom meetings have been exported/synced directly to my ical calendar. This has sudden ly stopped working and I cant seem to reset it - keeps trying to get me to use Microsoft Outlook. Really annoying when this has been working perfectly until now. Im thinking I will have to stop my account and look for an alternative.

I have the same problem. I submitted a ticket but no answers yet.

Same!  Any response yet or update?

Zoom does not sync to ical directly. You can sync to Outlook or Gmail. You could create an calendar event in ical each time you create a Zoom meeting. Alternatively, there is a Zoom app, Salepager, that sends you an ics file each time you create a Zoom meeting.

Same problem -- previous instructions no longer apply

Same issue. Plus it has incorrectly synced to another calendar I use. Has there been any response yet?

I know this is an old thread but it showed up when I searched for the answer.

I eventually managed to work it out.

In the desktop app edit the event > scroll to the bottom > Locate 'Export' > click 'Use an external calendar' > select the calendar from the drop-down you want to sync with.

This works. Brilliant. Thank you. Do you know if / how this setting can be made as the default so I don't need to keep selecting it every time?

This works. Thank you. However, is there a way to send scheduled the meeting via the app and it automatically goes into iCal? It appears the only way is to go into the desktop app>home>edit>export and select the calendar as you say. That is a complete faff.

Not that I can find. Seems a bizarre that Zoom don’t seem to be interested in fixing this problem…

I don't see this anywhere.
I'm using a Mac / Safari

I have done this - however it syncs to my laptop ical but not to my iPhone calendar.  Under Meeting Settings/Calendar it doesn't allow me to toggle to "Synced calendars" from disabled. Any way around this?  It appears it won't let me sync across calendars.
