screen sharing problem

When I'm in a meeting and try to share the screen in full format, it pauses and turns orange instead of green. How can I fix the error?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @sararequena

The message indicates that Screen Sharing is Paused.  The contents of the orange box you see is just a mini-view of what you are sharing.  You should see the green arrow Resume Share button which will take your screen share "Live" again:

I'm not sure why your screen share went into "Pause" mode - probably an accidental click.  But if it happens again, click the Resume Share button and you'll be fine.

Ray, I tried to hit the second green arrow as you suggested and it didn't do anything. Surprised that Zoom has not addressed this. Major issue.

Hi, @Edcclub71

Can you provide more info about your configuration?

  •  Machine type model
  •  Operating system and Version
  •  Zoom app version
  •  Type of Zoom account - Basic, Pro, Business, etc.

Screen shots would help:

  • Just before hitting the first green button (Share)
  • Just before hitting the second green button (Resume)
  • Any error messages out other indications after hitting Resume

Thanks.

I’m part of the LTD licensed group.
No error messages at all.
The trouble only began after the most recent iOS update in my IMac, Ventura 13.4
Screen shots identical to many posted in the Community posts.
All screenshots before hitting Share AND Resume (after the yellow “Paused”) are identical to those posted by others.
Hitting the Resume button does nothing.

The problem only seems to happen when I try to go full screen from a YouTube video I'm trying to share, using the little full screen icon at the lower right of the YouTube window. Up to that point, all is fine.
