re-using a link not possible anymore?

dear friends, during the last months I re-used a link that I have shared with people all around te word by adjusting the dates. So the  link was made for a february meeting and then I opened the link again and connected it with a March date. I did this in the planning screen. But this seems not possible anymore. Can somebody give me a tip?

On the web portal create the meeting as a recurring meeting, then send the date and time in the invitation email.
