Per this blog post here: https://blog.zoom.us/zoom-ipad-pro-updates/
Zoom was updated to support up to 48 participants in the gallery view on the 2021 12.9” iPad Pro with the M1 chip. I’m curious as to why the 11” iPad Pro with the M1 chip only supports up to 12 participants in gallery view, especially when mine is the 1TB version that comes with the upgraded 16GB RAM? Are there plans to enable more participants to be seen in gallery mode on the 11” iPad Pros? Please consider doing this in a future update. The hardware is certainly more than capable.

Hi @JerrySelma
A difference in native resolution, I imagine.
"expanded Gallery View [is] based on the display size"

Seeing as how both the 11” and 12.9” have the same CPU/GPU, the 11” would actually have less pixels and thus be less demanding from a hardware perspective to achieve. If their concern is with individual participants being too small in gallery view, why not let users set the max they want to see on a screen and let both 11” and 12.9” go up to 48 participants? I’d really like to hear from the developers on this.
