does zoom support Chromebook, error when connecting ?

Hi, 

 I am getting error "End-to-end encrypted meetings are not supported on the browser at the moment" from Zoom app dowloaded from Play and also when trying to connect from browser. From Android phone I can connect to zoom meeting.
What is the problem and what is solution ?

Add I often do, I checked the Zoom bot for an answer with “Error in Zoom on Chromebook: End-to-end encrypted meetings are not supported on the browser at the moment. How to fix?”.  Unfortunately Ziva wasn’t helpful, so I went to my second, more reliable source, Perplexity, which provided this:


Zoom currently does not support E2EE for web browsers—including on Chromebooks—because E2EE requires features that are only available in Zoom’s fully-featured desktop or mobile apps
