On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Installation of Zoom Workplace failes without error message

  1. I cannot install Zoom Workplace App on my "AMD Phenom II X4 955" running Windows 10 Home (22H2).
    After starting the ZoomInstallerFull.exe or .msi, the installation window disappears without any error message.
    Prior to this, I ran an older version, but now Zoom prevented me connecting to a meeting anymore. It requested an update. But after the update, the (old an new) Zoom App are disappeared. Even manual attempts of installation failed the same way.
  2. I opened tickets (TS1496587, TS1496090), but Support closed them by asserting: "Our records indicate that the email address provided in the request is not associated with an active Zoom account so we are unable to respond to your open ticket" whcih is not true. My email is registered  in my profile.
