My display name while I am in a meeting is different from what it shows on my account setting.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @LTalley.

 

Your display name might be different if you are attending a Meeting or Webinar that has registration enabled, especially if the registration is uploaded by the Host.

 

Also, it appears that you're on an educational account, and I suspect that the display name is controlled somehow by an integration with their enrollment system.  While searching for something related, I found this article from another university:

You might ask your school staff for additional information.
