cell phone rings during zoom meeting and video disappears

More than once, I am a participant in a zoom meeting and during the meeting my cell phone rings.  The video portion of zoom disappears to the generic zoom screen. I can hear the person speaking. I can see the little participants pinned   on the side but I can't get back to the main video. I tried "pinning" the speaker but the pin then disappears.  There  seems to be no way to get back to the main video. 

Do I have to sign out and sign back in??  Each time my cell phone rings this happens

Could you please provide a step-by-step explanation of how this issue occurs? Additionally, let us know if you're using a phone to join the Zoom meeting, the type of device, and the Zoom app version you're currently using.
