Hi @Core 

They cannot send a message to any participants outside of their breakout room, but they can use the Ask for Help option, which will alert the host to their request. You can find out more about how to do that in this support article.

is there a way for participates to send a message to the host when they are in a breakout room?

They cannot send a message to any participants outside of their breakout room, but they can use the Ask for Help option, which will alert the host to their request. You can find out more about how to do that in this support article.
