Lost all final assignments submitted to chat because I went to a breakout

I am a professor using Zoom.  My students had a final assignment, and other students needed 1:1 support.  I went to breakout rooms and have only the first four submissions sent while I was in the main room.  This is a TERRIBLE flaw.  The owner and host MUST be able to retrieve all content.  Is there a way to do this (for the future)?

It is not clear what device is being used to host the meeting nor is it clear what method was used for "four submissions sent while I was in the main room". Did you use chat text, chat file, zoom doc, team chat, google drive, dropbox, screen share, or some other choice?
