Yes, as a host or co-host, you can give permission to another participant or co-host on Zoom to record the meeting on their computer. Here's how:

  1. When you're in the Zoom meeting, click on the "Participants" button at the bottom of the Zoom window.
  2. In the Participants panel that appears, locate the name of the participant or co-host that you want to give recording permission to.
  3. Hover your cursor over their name, and click on the "More" button (three dots) that appears to the right of their name.
  4. From the menu that appears, click on "Make Co-Host" or "Make Record" depending on the permission you want to grant.
  5. If prompted, confirm that you want to grant this permission.
  6. The participant or co-host should now have the ability to record the meeting on their computer.

Ok thanks. And have you tried this? I've heard others say they can only press "record" but it records it to the cloud into your account.
